Organic Cotton in Conversion
This product contains “Organic Cotton in Conversion”. The farm from which the cotton comes, converts from conventional farming methods to an organic management system. This requires a transition period until the farm’s cotton actually meets all the requirements for organic cotton. By obtaining “Organic Cotton in Conversion” for our products, farmers are supported throughout their conversion process.
Field to fashion: With the "Empowering Farmers" project, we're establishing a traceable supply chain and supporting farmers in India in switching to organic cotton farming. With the help of local partners, we're supporting them in areas such as access to training, more affordable seeds and the certification of their cotton.
